3. Text Reminders & Push Notifications

RemindX uses text-based reminders delivered via push notifications to provide motivational quotes.

How Text Reminders Work:

• Notifications are sent based on the schedule selected by the user
• Notification permission is requested explicitly
• Reminder content is limited to motivational text messages

4. Voice Reminder Feature (Planned / Not Active)

RemindX plans to introduce a Voice Reminder feature in a future update.

Current Status:

• ❌ Voice recording is not currently implemented
• ❌ The app does not access the microphone
• ❌ No audio data is collected, stored, or processed

5. Data Storage & Security

• User preferences are stored locally on your device using secure storage (localStorage / device storage)
• No sensitive personal data is stored on external servers in the current version
• We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information

6. Third-Party Services

Currently, RemindX does not integrate third-party analytics, ads, or tracking SDKs.

• Push notifications (e.g., Firebase Cloud Messaging)
• Authentication services
• AI APIs (for quote generation)

7. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as the app is installed on your device.

You can remove all stored data at any time by:

• Clearing app data
• Uninstalling the application
